There’s a vast array of insulation types: from man-made products to natural insulation such as recycled wood fibre and sheep wool. Natural insulation is breathable and can absorb airborne moisture (up to 25% of its weight) I.e. lower condensation / internal humidity. A properly insulated log home is synthetics free ‘micro–climate’ for healthy and comfortable living. Excellent heat retention U Value and superior air quality than conventional construction type homes.
