3/1/07 - Your Log home/Log cabin to be designed supplied & built at cost price.
In 2007 we plan to build in Scotland our first 3 Log buildings, following our advertisement in Scotland’s broadsheet as offered to the public. This is an opportunity to have your Log home/cabin at cost & substantially save further on what is already an excellent value for money solid log building.
This offer is in collaboration with our Estonian parent company whom we represent in Scotland & is one of the Baltic’s leaders for custom made log buildings in the more than 20 countries worldwide.
Offer is limited to:
- Scotland only.
- 3 log buildings with floor plans from 36 m2 & up to 150 m2.
- Does not include foundations or turnkey solution.
The successful criteria for our offer is a combination of site location & design that best serve our long term marketing strategy. (Design can be of our existing range or bespoke). It can be a humble classic Log cabin in the countryside or contemporary in urban settings. Please note that this is not a design competition.

In return, you will be contractually obliged to us as follows:
Occasionally & with ample prior notice, on a strictly by appointment basis, allow for our representative accompanied by prospective clients to view your Log Building. This is for a period of up to 3 years from end of construction. In addition we reserve the right to use photography of your log building in promoting LogHomeScotland as & when required.

IF YOU'VE ever found yourself dreaming of an Estonian log cabin...well, OK, that's not that likely but if the Scottish branch of an Estonian wooden house company has its way, three homeowners could get one heck of a deal next year. Log Home Scotland are looking to construct three showhomes here to kickstart sales and are hoping to team up with potential self-builders. The deal is that you provide a great location and a design which suits you and they will build it for you, at cost price plus VAT. In return they will use photos of your house in their advertising and may want to show round prospective purchasers, with ample notice of course, any time up to three years after completion.
David Revesz, managing director of Log Home Scotland, which has built hundreds of the wooden houses across Europe, believes that the chosen owners will save at least 35 per cent off the cost of such a home. "What we are looking for is someone who shares our ethos and maybe wants to change the image of a log cabin in this country - they aren't just suitable as a weekend bolthole but can make fabulous imaginative homes." The smallest that the company designs is only 36sq m, but Revesz doesn't expect the submitted designs to be so modest.
And a tip for those wanting to catch the eye of the judges - Revesz says "One of our aims is to introduce the log cabin into an urban environment, which many people won't have thought of before."
